Five-week gap to the next race affords the team more time to implement updates and improvements to their brand-new M3s
No matter how much the BMW experts from BimmerWorld Racing want to conquer the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Grand Sport division in their first season of racing M3 V8s in the class, the team will continue to chant the mantra of “it’s a development year” throughout the 10-race calendar.

Leading BMW Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge team ready for Barber's rolling hills and natural terrain.
GRAND-AM’s premier production-based road racing series will visit a variety of venues during the 10-round championship this season, but with this weekend’s Barber 200 at the picturesque Barber Motorsports Park circuit in Leeds, Alabama, BimmerWorld’s pair of BMW 328is and M3s will get to race in a more traditional setting.

After earning podium in ST class and a top-6 in GS at the season opening Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race at Daytona, BimmerWorld is aiming for more points and speed at Round 2.
For a team that doubled in size, made its debut with a two-car effort in the Grand Sport (GS) category and fielded two new drivers in the Street tuner (ST) class at Daytona, the BMW experts at BimmerWorld Racing came away pleased from the first race of the 2011 championship. But they are also hungry for better results.
