BimmerWorld Builds Momentum at Lime Rock World Challenge Double-Header

Dublin, Virginia-based BimmerWorld Racing emerged from rounds four and five of the 2008 SPEED World Challenge Touring Car events at Lime Rock Park with valuable championship points earned for all three drivers.
In the unique ‘two races in three days’ format held over Memorial Day weekend at the Lakeville, Connecticut track, drivers Seth Thomas, Nick Esayian, and James Clay found mixed fortunes between the first race held on Saturday and the second race held on Monday.
BimmerWorld Back on Track after Thrilling VIR World Challenge Race

Saturday’s race at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) delivered thrilling battles, two BimmerWorld drivers on the podium, the 5th closest finish in Series history, the fastest race lap, and the Sunoco Hard Charger Award for the Dublin, Virginia based team.
Add in the massive crowd supporting the BimmerWorld boys, and round two of the 2008 SCCA SPEED World Challenge Touring Car championship was a classic event for all of those in attendance.

“The past six weeks have been insanely hectic from all directions – the fun just never ends here!” BimmerWorld owner and driver James Clay offered. While some World Challenge Touring Car teams have looked to the extended break between the first and second rounds as an opportunity to charge their batteries and prepare for the remainder of the season, Clay and his BimmerWorld BMW E90 team mates Seth Thomas and Nick Esayian have been working flat out since the checkered flag flew at Sebring last month.
In addition to owning the BimmerWorld Racing team, Clay also owns and runs the parent company, his BimmerWorld BMW aftermarket, sales, and development business that serve owners and enthusiasts of the famed German brand.
